Most people assume security and building wealth are a trade-off. Keep your crypto on a hardware wallet and it's safe, but it's locked away, doing nothing. Move it to an exchange to earn interest and suddenly you're exposed to the exact risks a hardware wallet was supposed to protect you from.
We built Ryder Earn to close that gap.
What Is Ryder Earn?
Ryder Earn brings staking directly into the Ryder experience. You can stake supported assets from the Ryder App and confirm every transaction on your Ryder One. Your private keys never leave the device. Nothing moves without your approval.
This is what self-custody should look like in 2026: not just security, but a secure financial home for your crypto, where your money can work for you.
How It Works
Ryder Earn is powered by Yield.xyz and Fast Pool. Yield.xyz is a proven and trusted staking infrastructure used by some of the largest companies in the space, and Fast Pool is a native Stacks provider with millions of STX within the protocol.
Here's how to get started using your Ryder One:
- Head over to Earn within the Ryder App.
- Select your token and staking provider. Your Ryder One shows you exactly what you're signing.
- Once confirmed, the transaction goes on-chain.
- Track and manage your account inside the app.
That's it. The same security model you already trust for sending and swapping crypto, now extends to staking.
Supported Assets at Launch
Ryder Earn currently supports two assets with more on the way:
SOL (Solana)
Generating interest on Solana is done via native staking providers, like Meria. Your SOL moves into a staking account, earns rewards while delegated, and you withdraw to collect your rewards and original deposit after un-staking. Validators are selected via Yield.xyz, which currently include Meria.
APY with Meria is ~5.6%. Depending on the provider, APY ranges from 5% to 6.5% APY%.
STX (Stacks)
STX staking is facilitated by Fast Pool. This one works differently: your tokens stay in your account and your rewards deposit automatically.
APY ranges between 6 and 7%.
We'll expand supported assets over time and publish clear guides for each chain as we go. On the list of assets to come: staked ETH, Bitcoin, and more.
Why This Matters
There's a version of crypto ownership where your assets sit in cold storage, safe but idle, while everyone else is earning interest on centralized platforms. The problem with those platforms is that they require you to give up control. You've seen what happens when that goes wrong.
Ryder Earn is a different path. Your keys stay on your hardware wallet. Your transactions are confirmed on a device built for secure signing. And your crypto gets to work.
Security shouldn't mean your crypto sits idle.
Start Earning from Your Ryder One
Ryder Earn is the third pillar of what we're building. With this update, you can now:
- Buy crypto in the app via MoonPay.
- Swap across chains via Ryder Swap.
- Earn interest on your crypto through staking, with Ryder Earn.
The goal has always been a single, secure place to manage your crypto from purchase to long-term storage to yield. Ryder One is that place.
If you already own a Ryder One, keep your app and firmware up to date. Ryder Earn is rolling out now. If you don't have one yet, there's never been a better time to make the move to self-custody.
