Our new update is live but our focus stays the same: to bring the best self-custody experience to our users. And today we are releasing Ryder OS 1.6.0 and App version 1.5.0 to bring two significant features: import seed phrase and swaps.

This is a big deal. You can now upgrade your seed phrase by backing it up with Recovery Tags or Contacts.
How it works: if you already have a wallet, Ryder One now lets you import your existing 12- or 24-word secret recovery phrase directly into the device. After importing, you can add TapSafe backups to this existing wallet. It means that your seed phrase, Recovery Tags and Recovery Contacts are all compatible with each other. It's like having a seed phrase upgrade, or a "backup for your seed phrase."

No more switching between apps to trade. You can now swap assets across chains directly from your Ryder app.
