Over 100 projects have shut down since January. In July alone, three major exchanges announced closures: AscendEX, BitMEX after 11 years, and BitMart with 13 million users and a hard withdrawal deadline. MiCA came into full effect across Europe, removing dozens of exchanges from the market overnight. Binance suspended new EU sign-ups and MEXC told EU users to withdraw. The list goes on.
The message from regulators, from the market, and from the exchanges themselves has never been clearer: if your crypto sits on a platform you don't control, you don't own it. You are holding a promise. And promises have been breaking at an alarming rate.

The biggest product milestone in Ryder's history launched this month. Ryder Earn brings staking directly into the Ryder experience, letting you put your crypto to work without giving up custody of it.
SOL staking is live via Meria and Yield.xyz, currently yielding between 5% and 7%. STX stacking is live via Fast Pool, with Bitcoin miner rewards flowing back to stakers every two weeks. More assets are on the roadmap.
The flow is simple: initiate in the Ryder App, confirm on your Ryder One, keys never leave the device. The same hardware that keeps your assets safe now puts them to work. Security and yield used to be a choice. With Ryder Earn, they are not.

We Won the Red Dot Product Design Award
This month, our co-founder Louise and Friedger from our tech team attended the Red Dot Gala Dinner to collect Ryder One's Red Dot Product Design Award.
Red Dot is one of the most respected design awards in the world. Winning it with a hardware wallet matters because it proves something the industry has assumed impossible for too long: security and great design do not have to be traded off against each other. Ryder is Now an Official Solana Ecosystem Contributor
The Solana Foundation awarded Ryder a grant to build an official C++ SDK for Solana. Every developer building hardware wallets or embedded systems on Solana had to figure out the wiring themselves.
We're building the official wiring manual. When it's done, it's open source and free for every developer in the ecosystem to use. The grant is recognition that Ryder is not just a product company. We are infrastructure.
